STANDARD OIL
Another modest, low-profile corporate HQ. Keep in mind this was built after they were busted up by the government.
The building seems to be turning the corner, heading toward the left like some gigantic steamship. The lower wings follow the street, but the tower is aligned with the overall Manhattan street grid. One writer compared the building to the Sphinx, and it's an apt comparison. Or would be, if someone had blown off its face with drunken cannon fire.
The light at the tip of the pyramidal tower was used as a navagation beacon for ships, according to its wikipedia page, but I think by the mid 20s they had better information at thier disposal.
