PARAMOUNT BUILDING

I'll just say what I said in the Times Square site:

Middle-late boom building: 1926-27. It's an ordinary building unti you get to the top, when it goes Jazz-Age crazy: that slab, the huge clock, and then a what-the-hell-why-not glass dome on top.

The Paramount Theater on the ground floor was closed in the 60s and used as office space by the New York Times.

In 2010 it was the 360th tallest building in New York.

There were 359 buiildings taller than this one. And more since.
