Da, Comrade! Is bank with the services of full! The Peoples will rejoice! This is a nice little book, if a bit confused. The front has a nifty fifties vibe, even though the bank is a bit indistinct – you imagine that the people of Bloomer knew what it looked like, though. The spine is a throwback to matchbook art of many decades hence, complete with actual moneybags. The back has Pointy McFootless, the 60s icon for a “Full Service Bank." Loans, deposits, checking. I remember seeing this on the doors of all the banks in Fargo, and I recall the strange black man with a tie.
Or may it’s not a tie; perhaps that’s his spinal cord.
They issued stock, once.
