We strongly recommend pink and maroon, because it will be popular for a while, then a sign of the outmoded tastes, then something that makes the children nostalgic when they see the pattern or colors in another place years later, and finally something that appeals to people who had little first-hand recollection of the stuff but have imbued the style and hues with a variety of cultural messages they were never intended to support.
