The triangular object is a plumb bob, which is why it was used as the symbol for the Plomb company. Naturally. Makes sense. In a way, it does; if Plumb and Bob were in a horrible high-speed accident, you might get Plomb. But you can’t get them anymore. The Plomb tool company – named for one of its founders, Alphonse Plomb - ceased production in 1947. People still regard them as the height of the art, though – and not just in Larned, Kansas.
