The Robaire's address turns up a building that seems to hail from the era, but it's too nondescript to point out. I gather a lot of restaurants were like that - blank and modern on the outside, dark and well-appointed on the inside. The LA street was backstage, in a way. Inside was where the plays took place.
If you like Paris, you'll love Robaire's! If you hate Paris, take your sorry Francophobe butt over to Mama Mia, where Chef "Fingers" Digati will cook your food to your order under the merry-yet-watchful gaze of a poorly drawn and ill-conceived ethnic sterotype.
