This is a dish of cooked spinach served with cooked celery.
Celery. Something known for its tastelessness, added only to provide crunch - but here it's cooked so it's as limp as the spinach.
The ad points out that this frozen spinach doesn't come with any sand, which is nice. Nothing like a little grit to ruin your mouthful of slimy greens. But it doesn't mean, as the ad suggests, that it's been picked with loving care. It means it's been blasted by high-pressure industrial machinery. If that means loving care to you, then you're probably aroused by drive-through car washes. |
