Born July 25, 1893. Attended Greeley Grade school. President of the graduating class. Entered South High School September, 1908, graduated 1912.

Entered University of Minnesota, September 1913, taking two years Academics and two years law. Attended first Officers Training School at Fort Snelling, getting his Commission early in August.

Was offered to France unattached and soon went to the Front as lieutenant in Machine Gun Co. 3th Infantry.

Was killed October 10, 1918.
