Look at that station! But was it a prototype, a standard (sorry) Gulf station, or a fantasy?

I've never come across Superior 400 before. From this page I learned that it was mostly an Iowa operation, with a scattering of stores in nearby states. Gulf bought the chain in 1971 as part of their Midwest expansion program.
