The Ewalds ran a successful dairy for years – it’s still around, in fact, as is the “Golden Guernsey” brand, carried by dairies that met the exacting requirements for butterfat ratios. Since the name of the local company and the national brand used the same typeface – the ol’ logs-forced-to-assume-letter-shapes-against-their-will font – it looks like the front of the book was specially designed, with a stock back. All in all, about eight typefaces on this one book. “Guaranteed” is the best of the lot, I think.
“America’s table milk”! Suitable for floors and walls, too. Slosh it on the chairs while you’re at it.
