The color scheme – gold and blue, for God’s sake – puts it square in the mid-60s, in the post-Camelot era of ersatz swank and modernist baroque. Or vice versa. The Inn of Tomorrow! “Moon Level Luxury . . . Down to Earth Rates.”

It’s a much lesser thing today. Improved? Not really.

The Inn of Tomorrow, however, was an insufficiently groovy name. And so . . .
