Let me use this opportunity to note that Holiday Inn Express never felt like a Holday Inn. A true Holiday Inn isn't stacked up more than two stories, unless it is attached to a two-story wing. That's the case with the Fargo HI.

In short, if you can't park within 15 feet of your room, it's not a Holiday Inn.

Those are inexact standards and I do not expect the chain, or anyone else, to observe them.
