There's a building with the same dimensions on the site today. Same height. The building on the left side is actually taller, and older. The building on the right in the postcard does not exist. It may have never looked like this, at all.

Always odd and wrong to see the Great Sign reduced, up on a pedestal, and dropped into a city.

2022 News: the city says it's going to use tax help to convert the building to apartments. Aside from the ground floor restaurant, it's been vacant for a decade.
