From the halcyon days of 1909, twelve stories of solid office tower crowned with strange proud protuberances. The Builders Exchange! It looks empty in most of these shots, but it must have had tenants enough; it lasted almost eighty years. The building on the right is the Minneapolis Athletic club; the building on the far left side, barely visible, is the Pillsbury building. Left-center is the National Building.
