The Leader store - a name long forgotten in local retail - occupied most of the building in the early part of the century. This ad is from the late twenties, and touts new innovations found in the old hulk - Security Red Stamps, for one, and the New Edison Radio. (The former was a precursor of grocery store stamps, given out mostly by department stores.)
