Above: the building today. It was a record store for many years, but it closed. The original fire escape is still clinging to the brick - and you can see the old name under the cornice.

The side of the building, for years, had signs in various states; the first one had an overlay of Lancer's, a men's clothing store. These are old camcorder grabs, and I'm not sure what condition they're in today.

As for the last days of the brand, I don't know. There was a Witt's Liquor around the corner, which changed its name to "Team Liquor" a while back.

Pity. The logo they used for Witt's was almost exactly the same as the store's original logo.
