The Kress sign is still there, although the store - of course - is long gone. It was quite the operation. If you zoom out of the Google Street View or go around the block, you'll see that the store wrapped around a hotel / residential structure on the corner. It's a beautiful structure across from a big park.

Hard to believe it'll be vacant forever.
