RITZ TOWER
A Jazz-age apartment tower aimed at the swells and high-hats, but it wasn't the color of rare steak. It was, and is, light-colored stone and brick.
It was developed by a newspaper columnist, of all things. He lost his shirt, and had to hand it over to his boss, Charles Foster Kane. Now it serves the superrich in New York who want some peace and quiet. Relatively speaking.
