Hello, Mr. Happy Banker! And happy you should be, for you've done quite well over the years. The old HQ was built a few years after its 1920 charter, and you can tell it was post-Tut's tomb: the details and style are all Egyptian.
Why anyone thought an American bank should look like an Egyptian temple, I've no idea.
A Greek or Roman temple, yes. I'm serious: that's Western culture. An Egyptian temple makes no sense at all, unless you want your depositors to think their money will be buried under the shifting sands for 2000 years.
