The Great Sign needs a base. When it's up on stilts like that it looks like flensed shinbones. Nice work lining it up perfectly with the horizon, though.

Gone now. The space would turn into a big empty lot that served as a lawn in front of subsequent hotel, and then it was used for a Taco Bell. Not exactly improvement, visually, but more useful. I suppose.
